This role is crucial for improving authority and maximizing the visibility of Graphwise.ai, driving qualified organic traffic, and increasing conversions. This is a part-time role, 4 hours per day.
The SEO / AEO Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive SEO and AEO strategies. You will conduct keyword and topic research, execute on-page optimization, manage link-building efforts, and continuously monitor performance metrics to ensure Graphwise maintains a leading presence in search and the modern AI answer engines. You will work closely with the Integrated Campaign Manager, Product Marketing, Content, and Development teams.
Your role directly contributes to the company’s pipeline growth and client retention through data-driven marketing efforts.
Your responsibilities shall include:
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO and AEO strategies to increase organic search rankings and answer engines visibility.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research in SEO / AEO platforms to identify high-value target terms.
- Perform regular technical SEO audits and implement on-page and off-page optimization recommendations (e.g., schema markup, site speed, mobile optimization, link building).
- Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO and AEO performance using tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console and dedicated SEO / AEO platforms.
- Collaborate with the Content team to ensure all website and blog content is optimized for search intent and keywords.
- Develop and oversee a ‘Direct Answer’ strategy, optimizing content structures (FAQ patterns, concise summaries, and ‘Nuggetized’ data) specifically for LLM (Large Language Model) extraction and attribution.
- Work with Product marketing to monitor and manage brand citations and sentiment across third-party platforms (review sites, forums, and industry databases) to improve the brand’s ‘trust score’ within AI knowledge bases.
- Work with the Development team to address technical SEO issues and implement new features that support organic growth.
- Identify and track emerging AEO KPIs, such as Brand Citation Share within AI responses and Sentiment Analysis of AI-generated summaries.
- Work with the research and analytics team to conduct regular Competitive Gap Analysis within Answer Engines to identify where competitors are being cited over Graphwise.ai and develop counter-strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO/AEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry changes to ensure best practices are always followed.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
- Experience in successfully managing and scaling both SEO and AEO programs.
- Good understanding of SEO best practices, including technical SEO, on-page, and off-page optimization.
- Proficiency in AEO principles, including metadata optimization and multimodal asset optimization (images, video, and data visualizations for AI interpretation).
- Familiarity with web analytics and SEO tools (e.g., GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or equivalent).
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
- Understanding of mobile-first indexing and core web vitals.
- Highly analytical mindset with a strong ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Good project management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
