Simulation and system analysis of networks has been the main topic throughout his career. It involves various industries (Telecom, Oil & Gas and now Electrical Grid Networks) and various roles (Ph.D researcher, systems delivery engineer, functional architect, product owner and business domain architect). The assembly and practical use of digital twins is at the center of these activities, but its complexity puts it out of reach for many of those who could and should be core users. The Talk2PowerSystem project was initiated by Andreas Kimsås in an attempt to democratize these models with the final objective to make it radically easier to use the models for power system analysis.
