In response, Graphwise and Cognizone are introducing a semantic approach to railway asset management based on W3C-compliant standards such as RDF, OWL, SHACL, and SPARQL. This new paradigm enables key benefits, including a unified view of assets, lifecycle intelligence, simplified reporting, and alignment with Digital Twins and Industry 4.0. The system also facilitates the creation of AI-ready knowledge graphs for applications like failure prediction, route optimization, and investment planning.
