Monica Fulvio is a data governance and metadata leader with over a decade of experience building practical systems that protect and improve the value of data. She specializes in governance frameworks, taxonomy, and metadata architecture.
At The Walt Disney Company, she founded and led data governance for the Content Platforms division, establishing schema documentation across systems. At National Geographic, she built a centralized reference data architecture and multilingual taxonomy spanning 13+ languages. She now works at ASHA, designing and implementing knowledge organization systems for a unified content repository.
She holds an MS in Library & Information Science; the DAMA CDMP certification; and the Product School product certification.
