More intelligent, more efficient, and more secure – the latest PoolParty release delivers multilingual capabilities to our AI-powered Taxonomy Advisor, streamlines installation through automation, introduces time-saving bulk operations, and strengthens our security foundation.

Graphwise is thrilled to announce the arrival of PoolParty 2025 Release 1. This release delivers multilingual capabilities to our AI-powered Taxonomy Advisor, streamlines installation through automation, introduces time-saving bulk operations, and strengthens our security foundation.
We’re excited to see how these enhancements will empower your knowledge management initiatives while maintaining the highest security standards in today’s data-driven environment.
Taxonomy Advisor: Now Speaking Your Language
The Taxonomy Advisor, powered by advanced Large Language Models and Generative AI technology, transforms how subject matter experts create and refine knowledge graphs and taxonomies. The underlying technology works with all languages configured in PoolParty, including the five languages: English, German, French, Spanish, and Dutch, which underwent rigorous testing to ensure consistent high-quality suggestions.
We’ve enhanced the user experience by providing richer contextual information as users expand their taxonomies, making the suggestion process more intuitive and precise. This means you can build comprehensive taxonomies with greater ease, efficiency, and accuracy—regardless of your preferred language.
Modern Installation: Automation-Ready
Say goodbye to traditional interactive prompts during installation. Our new installer embraces a modern, flexible approach using environment variables, allowing you to manage all configuration settings through environment variables or a single .env file.
This significant enhancement brings two key benefits: automation-ready deployment and simplified configuration management.
The new installer represents faster deployments, easier configuration management, and improved consistency across environments.
Bulk Operations: Productivity Unleashed
Our new bulk operations in the PoolParty Thesaurus Manager make managing large taxonomies more efficient. Users can select multiple concepts in the Thesaurus tree and perform actions such as adding to collections or deleting them in a single operation.
This productivity-enhancing feature is just the beginning. We plan to expand these capabilities in upcoming releases to further streamline your workflow and boost productivity. Managing large taxonomies is more efficient than ever.
Workbench and UnifiedViews: Architectural Advancements
Workbench 2.1.0 has undergone a major architectural update transitioning from JavaEE to Jakarta, and now runs on Tomcat 10.1.39 for compatibility with PoolParty 2025 R1. Additional improvements include migration to OpenAPI 3, upgrades to Spring Boot v3 and Hibernate v6, and enhanced visual styling, among others.
UnifiedViews 10.0.3 delivers important security updates, including an update to Tomcat 9.0.102 to address critical remote code execution vulnerabilities. We have resolved issues with JSON-ID output generation, improved credential handling, and eliminated a vulnerability in the FileUpload DPU.
Security and Bug Fixes: Our Ongoing Commitment
At Graphwise, security remains a top priority. This release includes several important security updates, including the removal of vulnerable libraries and updates to core components like Guava, Spring, Spring Security, and Commons IO. We’ve updated Tomcat to version 10.1.39 to address the latest vulnerabilities.
We’ve resolved several bugs, including display issues in the Thesaurus Manager and Linked Data frontend, improved handling of Wikidata links, optimized Keycloak configuration, and enhanced ontology import capabilities. These fixes ensure a smoother and more reliable user experience across the platform.
