Semantic Web Company and Ontotext merge and become Graphwise. Semantic Web Company brings expertise in knowledge engineering, semantic AI and intelligent content processing, while Ontotext brings the most versatile graph database engine and state-of-the-art AI models for linking and unifying information at scale. Together, Graphwise delivers the critical knowledge graph infrastructure enterprises need to realize the full potential of their AI investment.

Graphwise Platform will provide you:

Our existing brands are strongly associated with the Semantic Web, which many outside Europe perceive as too academic and old school. We will use the Graphwise.AI domain to emphasize that AI is an important part of our offering.

The product brands, GraphDB and PoolParty, will continue to be used – they are strong and well known.

Ontotext and Semantic Web Company, two pioneers in the market, will merge, the ‘old names’ will continue for a few months but will eventually be fully merged into ‘Graphwise’.

Graphwise is also a play on words in two ways: on the one hand, we are making it clear that everything we do with AI and data is done ‘graphwise’, which clearly differentiates us from other market players who do not use graphs. On the other hand, we are making it clear that we have the most extended experience in the graph community and that we have had graph in our DNA since the beginning.

From now on, we are all Graphwisers!

The new company will be led by President Atanas Kiryakov and an experienced SVP management team of key executives from both companies.

In fact, the Graphwise management team consists of: SVP Growth: Andreas Blumauer (Co-Founder and CEO of SWC), SVP Finance & Compliance: Veska Davidova (COO of Ontotext), SVP Products & Engineering: Vassil Momtchev (CTO of Ontotext), (Interims) SVP Sales: Todd Blaschka (former COO of TigerGraph), and SVP Customer Success: Martin Kaltenboeck (Co-Founder and CFO of SWC).

Graphwise is a global company with offices in Europe, North America and APAC. There is no single head office. Our main offices are located in Sofia, Vienna and NYC. Graphwise’s North American team is spread across the major metropolitan areas.

Please continue to work with your current representative as current terms and conditions remain unchanged. The ongoing engagements will continue and be serviced by the same people you work with today. All of us are committed to ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining the high level of service you have come to expect.

Partners will have access to a broader portfolio of products and services and will benefit from a stronger brand and more intensive marketing activities, as well as from a larger, experienced team.
Graphwise will integrate the two partner networks in place and will offer even better onboarding services than before to all partners that are willing to adopt the technology.
