About the role
We’re looking for an Infrastructure Security Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Information Security team and help us build, operate, and secure the infrastructure behind Graphwise’s products and internal systems.
This role combines infrastructure engineering with operational security. You’ll work across cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring our platforms remain reliable, scalable, and secure while continuously strengthening the organization’s security posture. From automating infrastructure and managing Kubernetes environments to improving network security and supporting compliance initiatives, you’ll play a key role in protecting both our products and our business.
What you’ll do
- Build, maintain, and improve the infrastructure that powers Graphwise’s products and internal services across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Manage containerized platforms and Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, reliability, and operational performance.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows using Infrastructure as Code and scripting.
- Design and implement security controls across systems, networks, and cloud environments, including identity management, access controls, encryption, and secure configuration standards.
- Strengthen the organization’s security posture by managing firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, vulnerability management, and patching processes.
- Monitor infrastructure and security events, investigate incidents, and participate in incident response activities.
- Support security, privacy, and compliance initiatives, including ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 42001, SOC 2, and GDPR requirements.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, platform engineers, and compliance teams to build secure, reliable, and scalable systems.
What makes a good candidate
- Experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Security Operations.
- Strong hands-on experience administering Linux-based production environments and enterprise infrastructure.
- Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, routing, segmentation, and secure remote access.
- Experience implementing operational security practices, including vulnerability management, patching, identity and access management, and incident response.
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to take ownership of production issues and drive them to resolution.
- Comfortable working collaboratively across engineering, infrastructure, and security teams while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience working with Elastic Security, Wazuh, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or similar SIEM platforms.
- Experience supporting compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 42001, SOC 2, or GDPR.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, RBAC, IAM, PKI, or enterprise identity management.
- Experience operating hybrid cloud environments and enterprise networking.
- Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CISSP, Azure Security Engineer, AWS Security Specialty, Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), or similar.
